The Joint Spatial Planning Department of Berlin and Brandenburg (GL – Gemeinsame Landesplanungsabteilung) has been responsible for regional development and state planning in Berlin and Brandenburg. It is both part of the Berlin Senate for Urban Development and Environment as well as of the Brandenburg Ministry for Infrastructure and Agriculture. At federal level, the Joint Spatial Planning Department is the only federal state authority being responsible for two federal states in the field of regional development. more
