EU projects of the Joint Spatial Planning Department Berlin-Brandenburg

In addition to active participation in interregional, national and European networks and committees, the Joint Spatial Planning Department Berlin-Brandenburg (GL) is also involved in various EU projects on specific topics relating to spatial development and regional development. Of importance here are the European territorial cooperation (ETC) project funding programmes, better known as Interreg.

The exchange of experience and knowledge with local stakeholders from the region and European partners abroad strengthens the capital region as an attractive location right in the centre of Europe and its links with neighbouring countries.

H2CE – Empowering H2-ready regions in Central Europe

As lead partner, the Joint Spatial Planning Department Berlin-Brandenburg is coordinating the transnational Interreg B project H2CE. The aim of the project is to support participating regions in Central Europe in the energy transition and to integrate hydrogen into regional planning and development.
